Our Process
Our Team here at Fresno Body Works takes pride in the job we do. Here is a step by step introduction to our internal process and workflow.
1. Reception
As you enter Fresno Body Works , you will be welcomed and asked to fill out a simple form. A Customer Service Specialist will then personally go over every detail of the repair job with you, so you know exactly what work needs to be completed on your vehicle. On occasion it will be necessary to disassemble your vehicle this gives us what we call an X-RAY estimate, this can be completed at your convenience.
2. Estimating
Your estimate will be prepared by the latest cutting edge software, guaranteeing you the most precise and thorough estimate available anywhere. Every detail is covered leaving nothing to chance.
3. Customer Service
Your Customer Service Specialist will step you through each part of your cost estimate and obtain insurance authorization, if necessary, while you wait. You will also be informed of all repair details including a completion timeline, as well as any updates as they arise. These updates may be communicated by phone or text messaging as per your preference.
4. Car Rental
Getting your temporary wheels couldn’t be easier. Because of our excellent relationship with several rental agencies, our Customer can enjoy the convenience of on-site car rental.
5. Tear Down
Your vehicle is then prepared for repair by removing all visually damaged parts. If inspection reveals any hidden damage, you and your Insurance Company (when applicable) will be informed.
6. Frame Work
Our Caroliner Frame Diagnostic System and Square Liner frame aligner enables precise accuracy when repairing your vehicle’s frame. This machine is capable of structural correction on trucks up to one and half ton trucks.
7. Metal Work
Sheet metal repairs are completed in specialized bays equipped with the most up-to-date equipment, including Prospot welders, like those used in the automobile manufacturing industry.
8. Painting
Your vehicle will be painted with only the best DuPont products, paints and clear coats. These coatings are factory preferred and applied in our state-of-the-art spray/baking booth, which utilizes state-of-the-art European downdraft technology.
9. Reassembly
The vehicle is reassembled to exact manufacturer specifications after all repair work is complete. If the damage warrants you will be supplied a structural read-out, before and after the repair. The final four-wheel alignment spec sheet will also be supplied. This will assure you that specifications were met as dictated by the manufacturer.
10. Final Inspection & Cleanup
All aspects of the repair are thoroughly inspected and guaranteed to meet factory specifications. Once repairs have passed final inspections, we will thoroughly clean your vehicle, making sure everything is perfect for you upon delivery.
11. Delivery
After final inspection your Customer Service Specialist will present you with your finished vehicle, being sure to point out all repairs that were completed and provide any additional instructions regarding care for your newly refinished vehicle.
